she's the oh so popping Trinidadian tomboy that used to date pharrell. but even more than that she's an artist, director, designer, party promoter, actress, entrepreneur, just pure talent. at first when i heard about her i was just like "oh the chick that throws mad old school parties and dates pharrell" lol and i kind of forgot about her after. but she made it clear that she was here to stay making herself known to the New York underground parties scene and for that reason being crowned "Downtown's sweetheart". she also has directed quite a few videos that I'm sure people are familiar with. she directed the "us placers" for Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West and Pharrell, she did the "t.o.n.y" for Solange, she also did "futuristic love" for young l.a, and so many more. Vashtie also has her clothing line called VIOLETTE, which is inspired by her own tom boy style but still very fashionable.you gotta love her, even though i get a little jealous every time i see a picture of her and Scott Mescudi (Kid Cudi) she's still super dope and something like an inspiration.
Va$htie is most certainly making her mark, and making her dreams come true.
